Meet the Ottawa Chiropractic Clinic Team

Introducing JoEtta Sommer

JoEtta Sommer"I’ve been a chiropractic patient most of my life and always thought of chiropractic as a way of relieving back pain. Since, I started at Ottawa Chiropractic in 1995, I’ve seen chiropractic help patients with asthma, ear infections, and bed wetting."

"When you visit our office, you’re likely to see me when you walk in the front door. I will be assisting you with your patient information forms and helping answer any questions you may have before you see the doctor."

"You will enjoy your experience at Ottawa Chiropractic because not only are we concerned about your symptoms, we are concerned about you. We look forward to meeting you and helping you achieve your optimal health goals.

Introducing Debbie Holstine

Debbie Holstine"I was unaware that I had scoliosis until I started working at Ottawa Chiropractic Clinic and had my evaluation and x-rays. Through regular adjustments, my scoliosis has not progressed."

"I’ve been with OCC for a total of 11 years, and am in charge of your insurance and billing. You may also see me covering therapy and the front desk. In my tenure at OCC, I have learned that through regular chiropractic care the body takes care of itself, along with diet and exercise."

"My husband, Danny, and I enjoy camping, boating, fishing, and swimming. We have two grown boys Daniel and Derik."

Introducing Hannah Boyd

Hannah Boyd"I first started receiving chiropractic care after I learned how chiropractic helps people achieve their highest level of health. Along with a balanced diet and exercise, chiropractic care gives me a healthier lifestyle."

"I truly enjoy my job. You’ll see me most often in the therapy area or taking x-rays."

"I enjoy reading and gardening. My husband and I also enjoy spending time outside: running, hiking, or biking.

Introducing Donna Stahl

Donna Stahl"My husband, John, and I have been patients of chiropractic for more than 20 years. We realize many of the benefits of chiropractic care and appreciate the fact that we are able to lead healthier lives because of chiropractic care."

"One of my greatest pleasures is being a member of the Ottawa Chiropractic Clinic team. You will find me in the therapy department just waiting to help our patients feel better."

"John and I are blessed with three great sons, three wonderful daughter-in-laws, and 12 fantastic grandchildren. When we are not involved in family functions, we like to fish, tend our flower gardens, and lead a quiet life."

Dr. Cheri Asks some important questions of interest to Ottawa residents - Chiropractor Ottawa Dr. Cheri Asks...

How could chiropractic help a stomach problem?
Chiropractic works by locating and reducing areas of the spine compromising nerve communications between your brain and your body. If nerves to or from your stomach are irritated, your stomach won't work right. Chiropractors find the source of the interference, reduce it and allow your body to work as designed.
What's a side effect?
It may sound like a bonus; something extra, but chiropractors know it should more accurately called an "unintended effect," and "unwanted effect" or in some cases an "adverse effect." A pill can't come close to matching your body's ability to create and deliver the essential compounds it needs. That's when it's important to make sure your nervous system is working correctly—the purpose of chiropractic care!
